The School Day
Our School Day - Reception to Year 2
School Drop Off
Our school gates are open between 8:40am and 8:50am
- Reception and KS1 pupils should arrive between 8:40am and 8:50am. If you arrive after this time, please enter via the main school Reception to ensure you are signed in.
Registration
Morning Registration is at 8:50am and Afternoon Registration is at 1:00pm.
Lunchtime
Lunches are staggered and take place in the dining hall. Hot meals are available for all pupils in Reception to Year 2.
Assemblies
A range of assemblies take place throughout the week; these sometimes take place in the hall and sometimes take place as class assemblies in the classroom. Assemblies focus on the following: school values, vision, rules and expectations; topical events happening in the world today including festivals; singing and celebration.
School Pick Up
Our school gates are open at 2:45pm to allow Preschool children to be collected.
- Reception and KS1 Pupils should be collected at 3pm.
- Pupils must be collected by a responsible person aged 16 years or over. If there are any changes to the usual collection arrangements, please inform the school of this.
Total Time
The school week equates to 32.5 hours/week. Our compulsory school times are 8:50am to 3pm.
Breakfast and After School Club (Willow)
Breakfast club opens at 7:30am and children can be dropped off anytime from then. They are then taken to their classes directly from breakfast club.
Children attending afterschool club are taken over at the end of the school day. This runs until 6pm and children can be collected at any time.
Our School Day – Year 3 to 6

All pupils should arrive between 8:35am and 8:55am. If you arrive after this time, please enter via the main school Reception to ensure you are signed in.

Morning Registration is at 8:55am and Afternoon Registration is at 1:30pm.

School Pick Up
Our school gates are open at 3:30pm and children are brought out to be dismissed:
- Years 3 and 4 are collected from the bottom gate (where pupils enter in the morning).
- Years 5 and 6 are collected from the middle gate.
- Pupils in Years 5 and 6, who have a signed permission, are permitted to walk home independently.
- Pupils must be collected by a responsible person aged 16 years or over. If there are any changes to the usual collection arrangements, please inform the school of this.

Our School Day - Preschool
Owl and Duckling Room
We have two Nursery classes for two and three year olds which cater for children in receipt of the fifteen and thirty hours funding.
- Morning Nursery Session| 8:45 am to 11:45am
- Afternoon Nursery Session | 11:45pm to 2:45pm
Nursery pupils enter and exit via the blue gates.
